Tell me Thursday #06 - Sunday at the beach

CanadaIt was a beautiful day on Sunday, so we decided to go to the beach! Waterloo has a privileged location, since there are really good beaches within two hours in almost all directions (maybe except East). I was hoping to take everybody to Sauble Beach, which is regarded -rightfully so- as the most beautiful beach in Ontario, but when Santi got a call inviting him to go to Pinery Provincial Park, we decided to tag along (after all, we are very good friends with the other family).

What if I told you the story using the pictures I took? Let's give it a shot... :-)

Veamos... :-)

We made a stop at the picnic area near the entrance and had lunch there. The park looked beautiful.

We then got to the beach. It was a little windy, and there were many boats, so we actually had a few waves!

By 5:30 PM, most people had left, so we had the whole lake for ourselves. Look at the reflection of the sunlight in the water!

The water was as clear as it looks in the picture. And warm! Absolutely amazing.
Y tibia! Simplemente fantástico.

And then... the sunset!
Y entonces... llegó el atardecer!

CanadaWe stayed until way past 8:00 PM, and I would say we were among the last to leave. But we didn't go back home! I asked Gaby "We're about 45 minutes away from London, what do you say we go and pay the Chamorros a visit?". She said yes, of course, and once we verified they were there (and they were still up) we just drove down and got there for pizza and coffee. We had a great time with our dear friends and our 'niece' Sileny (her sister Tathy wasn't home) and we didn't leave until it was almost midnight.

We drove back home taking the back roads, so it was a very quiet -and dark- trip. We got back at home at around 1:00 AM, and we all proceeded to crash. It didn't really matter that it was so late; after all, it was the eve of Labour Day, and we all got to sleep in. Well, everybody but me; would you believe I got up at nine and couldn't go back to sleep? :-)

Argentina

Con respecto a Carolina, ya estoy con la escopeta lista.<>Biddie<>, I loved that last picture too! Did you notice that none of the two seem to have a nose? I love my girls' picture as well.
