24/Mar/2012 – Shiloh (5)We’re lucky, little Shiloh came to visit us again, along with her sister, her dad and his girlfriend, my beautiful ‘niece’ Sileny. We spent all afternoon on Saturday talking, playing and –of course– eating. Florencia played with Shiloh and her sister Leah, and we didn’t hear of any disagreements or fights, as usual. These three girls really get along with each other.
At one moment, the kids brought all of our Webkinz for the girls to see (including mine!), and Juan was nice enough to give away to of his, one to each girl. I took “Ratontito”, my webkinz, and I spent the whole afternoon and evening placing it in the most unusual places (on top of the TV, hanging from the chandelier, playing with my laptop), pretending to be really mad at him whenever little Shiloh found him. She even gave him a fifteen minutes timeout!! And he got away when she wasn’t looking, of course. The girls left at around 11:00 PM, but my pet mouse had another surprise waiting for Shiloh… When she opened the front door to get in the car, she found my friend on the driveway, waiting to go in. She must be still scratching her head! :-)
We were talking about TV shows during dinner, and Sileny confessed that many times after the girls had gone to bed, she had found herself watching an episode of iCarly, the Disney show. I said that I could understand that, since the show is really funny (I love Carly’s brother and her blonde friend). So I said that I too have enjoyed the occasional episode of iCarly. That’s when Shiloh suddenly heard me:
- What? What did you say you watch?
- I watch iCarly. (Pretending to be excited) I LOVE iCarly!
- No! You can’t!
- (Puzzled) Why?
- You’re too BIG for that show!!!
The tone was more in the lines of “That’s MY show and you’re not allowed to watch it, OK?”.
This girl kills me. She’s absolutely adorable, so beautiful and so innocent. She’s my family newest favourite person.

Andamos de suerte, Shiloh nos vino a visitar de nuevo con su hermana, su papá Daniel (y su novia, mi hermosa ‘sobrina’ Sileny). Pasamos toda la tarde / noche del sábado hablando, jugando y –por supuesto–, comiendo. Flor jugó con Shiloh y su hermana Leah todo el tiempo, y no se escuchó queja o pelea alguna, como siempre. Estas tres nenas sí que se llevan bien!
En un determinado momento, los chicos trajeron todos sus Webkinz para que los vieran las nenas (trajeron hasta el mío!) y Juan fue tan bueno que les regaló uno a cada una de ellas. Yo agarré a “Ratontito”, mi webkinz, y me pasé la tarde y la noche poniéndolo en los lugares más inverosímiles (sobre la TV, colgando de una araña, jugando con mi laptop), y luego pretendía estar muy enojado con él cuando Shiloh lo encontraba. Si hasta lo puso en penitencia por quince minuto!!! Y el por supuesto se escapó cuando no lo vigilaban. Las chicas se fueron a eso de las 11:00 PM pero mi ratón mascota aún tenía una sorpresa para Shiloh… Cuando fue a abrir la puerta para salir y meterse en el auto, se lo encontró a Ratontito, que estaba esperando ansioso para entrar. Todavía debe estar rascándose la cabeza!! :-)
Hablábamos sobre programas de TV durante la cena, y Sileny confesó que muchas veces se había encontrado mirando un episodio de iCarly (el show de Disney) luego de que las nenas se hubieran ido a la cama. Yo respondí que podía entender eso, porque el show es realmente divertido (me encanta el hermano de Carly y su amiga rubia). Le dije a Sile que yo también de vez en cuando me enganchaba a mirar algún que otro episodio de este show. Ahí fue que Shiloh de pronto me escuchó:
- Qué? Qué es lo que dijiste que mirás?
- Miro iCarly. (Pretendiendo gran excitación) Me ENCANTA iCarly!
- No! No te puede encantar!
- (Extrañado) Por qué?
- Porque sos demasiado GRANDE para ese show!!!
El tono era más como diciendo “Ese es mi showy vos no tenés permiso de verlo, OK?”.
Esta nena me ‘mata’. Es absolutamente adorable, tan hermosa y tan inocente. Es la nueva persona favorita de toda mi familia.
