DIY!? That's going to be hard work and aching bodies later. :PWhat happened to the kids? Sent to stay with some one?
ReplyDeleteI'm sure after it's done, it'll be lovely! :)It's time for me to think about re-laminating my floor too, too much water stains on it that's pretty unsightly.< HREF="http://napaboaniya.blogspot.com" REL="nofollow">Its Not a Weekend;Its a Lifestyle<> &< HREF="http://napaboaniya.wordpress.com/" REL="nofollow">Napaboaniya APAD<>
ReplyDeleteThe kids helped a lot, EastCoastLife. They pretty much took care of slicing and getting rid of the old carpet, and they would take turns to prepare lunch and dinner (because we were still on March break when we started).
ReplyDeleteQuite an undertaking. Think I prefer putting in floors to painting, but it all has to be done. And so beautiful after wards. Great that you guys did it yourselves. A super feeling of accomplishment. Happy WW
ReplyDeleteI actually miss doing things like that. The problem with gov't assigned housing is your not allowed to make it yours. I can't wait until I have my own house to paint what ever color I want, no more white walls!
ReplyDeleteYou do have your hands full. Wish I could help. All except the painting.
ReplyDeleteBig Job!
ReplyDeleteA big job but it's looking good. Happy WW
ReplyDeleteQue bueno cuando están trabajando en tu casa. La mejor parte es cuando modifican el baño, tenés que pedir permiso a los vecinos o conseguir un balde !

ReplyDeletei bet it will look fabulous after it's completed.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lot of work! The floors look great already! We have to do our floors, but if I had the money, the amount of work involved still scares me!
ReplyDeleteCoincido con Mike, que lindo es "ver" como la gente trabaja. Suerte, les va a quedar de primera!
ReplyDeleteHard work pays off in the end. I'm sure it's all going to turn out beautifully!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like everyone's doing home improvement projects. :) Your floors and paint color look similar to mine. Good luck with the upgrades! It will look fab when it's all done.
