I think I had a great month with this blog; I had fun posting, some of my stories got really good comments, and the same happened with my pictures.
I got many more visits than in May, and there were a couple of weeks in which I had an average of over 120 visits per day. Sure some 'king blogger' made fun of me and called me a failure for being happy about having 'only' 100 visits per day, but well...
My Technorati authority stayed around 140 all month (it's down to 137 today), which was great. Blogalaxia is still listing me as their third most popular Spanish blog in Canada (out of 83 now). If we only talk about visits, I'm now in 6th position, up 5 respect last month. According to Feedburner, I have 81 subscribers, which is more than double than last month's... in fact, it's more than twice the number I've had for months until last Wednesday. I will never understand how this works...
Wednesdays are still the peak of my week in terms of traffic, thanks to my Wordless Wednesday posts, but the rest of the week is now pretty even, maybe with the only exception of Saturdays. I'm very happy that none of my posts had no comments, and some had more than 60 or 70!

July is not going to be different than June in terms of what I'm going to be writing about: we'll have soccer, childhood stories, pictures and the occasional funny story or video. I'm still working on my soccer team's blog (the "Waterloo Panthers") and participating of Santi's and Juan's. I don't think Carolina has done anything with her blog, so no reason to talk about it.
Big surprise in the "Top Commentator" race! Mike has finally found a challenger. Lorena, from "Travesías de los Varsano Cagnotti" broke into the race and led during a good part of the month. In the end, they both tied in first position with 19 comments each. But they were closely followed by Biddie, who made a comeback and came in third with 15 comments. There were many new -or returning- faces in the top 10, which included Lina in 4th place, Secret Agent Mama and Jorge. Dianne @ Bunny Trails, Annie and Héctor Torres also made it to the top 10.
I had new readers, and lots of comments. I received comments from 211 readers this month, and they left a total of 462 comments! I am really grateful; I know I write this mostly for me, but to have so many people finding what I write relevant, entertaining or thought-provoking is just an amazing experience!

Creo que tuve un gran mes en Junio; me divirtió mucho escribir, algunas de mis historias tuvieron muy buenos comentarios, y lo mismo pasó con mis fotos.
Tuve bastantes más visitas que en Mayo, y hasta hubo un par de semanas en los que promedié más de 120 visitas por día. Por supuesto, algún 'rey de los bloggers' se burló de esto y me llamó fracasado por estar contento de tener 'sólo' 100 visitas diarias, pero en fin...
My autoridad de Technorati se mantuvo alrededor de 140 todo el mes (hoy bajó a 137), lo que es muy bueno. Blogalaxia sigue listándome como el tercer blog en español más popular en Canadá (de 83 registrados). Si sólo hablamos de visitas, entonces estoy en sexto lugar, cinco posiciones más arriba que el mes anterior. De acuerdo con Feedburner, tengo 81 suscriptores, lo que es más del doble que el mes anterior... Más aún, es más que el doble de lo que tuve por meses hasta el miércoles pasado. Nunca voy a entender cómo funciona esto...
Los miércoles son aún los días de más tráfico, gracias a mis posts de Wordless Wednesday, pero el resto de la semana se ha puesto muy parejo ahora, tal vez con la sola excepción de los sábados. Estoy muy contento de ver que ninguno de mis posts quedó sin comentarios, y algunos tuvieron más de 60 ó 70!

July no va a ser muy distinto que Junio con respecto a los temas sobre los que voy a escribir: tendremos fútbol, historias de infancia, fotos y el ocasional video o foto divertidos. Todavía sigo trabajando en el blog de mi equipo de fútbol (los "Waterloo Panthers") y participo de los blos de Santi y Juan. No creo que Carolina haya hecho nada con su blog, así que no hay necesidad de hablar de él.
Gran sorpresa en la carrera por "Comentarista del mes"! Mike finalmente encontró competencia. Lorena, de "Travesías de los Varsano Cagnotti" irrumpió en la competencia y lideró por una buena parte del mes. Al final, ambos terminaron empatados en la primera posición con 19 comentarios cada uno. Pero fueron seguidos muy de cerca por Biddie, que volvió con todo y terminó tercera con 15 comentarios. Hubo muchas nuevas -o reaparecidas- caras en el top 10, que incluyen a Lina en el 4to lugar, Secret Agent Mama y Jorge. Dianne @ Bunny Trails, Annie y Héctor Torres también terminaron en el top 10.
Tuve nuevos lectores, y muchos comentarios. Recibí comentarios de 211 lectores este mes, que dejaron un total de 462 comentarios! Estoy realmente agradecido; si bien sigo sosteniendo que este blog lo escribo para mí, el saber que hay tanta gente que encuentra lo que escribo relevante, entretenido o que al menos le inspira un pensamiento es simplemente fascinante!
