Wow, that's kinda creepy. The other day, the sky was awful green around here. I thought for sure we'd have to run for the tub in the basement - but then a rainbow appeared in the heavens - it was amazing - a full one - all the way across!
Happy WW (although mine is not so wordless this week)!
I'm glad that we missed it for the most part..brother in Halifax was bracing for some scary weather but I think that storm by passed him, too. Some of my friends out East weren't so lucky...
Wow Mommy wisdom, seeing a green sky is exactly what I remember when a tornado came with in a few miles of my boarding school in Arkansas, way back in 67-68. I saw what looked ike a funnel in Ca during a light rain a few years ago. Glad it never touched down. Who needs the devastation!

ReplyDeleteWow, that's scary. Hopefully not too close to home? Guess I'll have to come back tomorrow for the details. :)
ReplyDeleteWe don't have tornados here in Manila so I'm thankful that we don't get to experienced that.
ReplyDeleteStorms, typhoons and earthquakes are the common natural calamities that we have here.
Happy WW!
Wow...what a tornado...
ReplyDeleteYikes! I'm glad you're still posting, after that!
ReplyDeleteHappy WW, and stay safe.

ReplyDeleteJust a little advance: this happened last week in Durham and Vaughn (about 50 miles east from Waterloo).
ReplyDeleteNo damage here, but it was pretty bad in these two places (unfortunately, there were fatalities)
that is surely a reminder of some horor film!

When nature strikes, it does with full force. :(
ReplyDeleteGlad to here it wasn't near Waterloo. But it is always said to hear that mother nature has taken someone from us.
ReplyDeleteHave a good WW
Yikes!! Wild tornado huh!
ReplyDeleteHave a Lovely WW!
I hate the weather sometimes!
ReplyDeleteHappy WW!

Man, I don't envy them! We get tornadoes here, but fortunately, they're usually far away from us. I'd like it to stay that way.
ReplyDeleteMine's up . . . at last! Thanks, as ever, for linky love, my friend! :D
I got to hear the story.
ReplyDeleteThat looks familiar. Did you get caught in a storm recently?
