Lunes con ‘L’ de Landriscina – #01

(En español más abajo)

CanadaI’m sorry, I guess this series of post will only work for Spanish-speaking people. Just wanted to pay tribute to the great Argentine humorist Luis Landriscina, one of my favourite artists. He’s famous for his style, deliberately slow and full with vivid details. His ‘jokes’ are not particularly funny, but he’s a fantastic storyteller. He’s so good at painting the whole picture and inviting you to ‘live’ the story that you surely laugh at the end, because it’s like you were witnessing the events with him by your side. Sometimes he doesn’t tell a joke at all, but a story or a poem. Equally enjoyable.

I don’t know if what I wrote is understandable, but I have never seen anybody as gifted as he is in the spoken word. Luckily for me, he’s from Argentina, and he’s funny!
