Sorry, I couldn’t post yesterday, it was a very busy ‘upgrade Friday’. Today I have funny soccer videos for you. As great as a striker he is, Santi’s first goal in competitive soccer was a fantastic own goal, 3 minutes into his first game and off a corner kick. He then scored two more (into the right net), so it wasn’t that bad of a dayI also remember a fantastic right back who played for River Plate in the ‘70s and ‘80s named Jorge Gordillo, who scored a beautiful own goal from like 30 yards on his first game as well (and the keeper was one of the top 5 in history, Ubaldo Fillol). Again, he would go on to become one of his teams best defenders in many years.

Lamento no haber podido postear ayer, pero fue un ‘viernes de upgrade’ muy ocupado. Para hoy tengo un video de fútbol. Si bien es un gran delantero, el primer gol de Santi en fútbol competitivo fue un hermoso gol en contra, 3 minutos luego de haber empezado su primer partido y a la salida de un corner. Luego hizo dos más (en la red correcta), así que no fue tan malo el día.
También recuerdo un excelente defensor que jugó para River Plate en los ‘70s and ‘80s llamado Jorge Gordillo, quien también anotó un fantástico gol en contra de como 30 metros en su primer partido (y el arquero era uno de los mejores cinco de la historia, Ubaldo Fillol). El también tendría una carrera muy exitosa y es considerado uno de los mejores defensores de esa época.
