Advent magic

We had our First Day of Advent service tonight, and all of my kids were chosen to be the candle bearers... To make the evening complete, I got to sing a solo as well. Gaby took many pictures, but it was kind of dark and some are not good. The kids were fantastic, with little Florencia leading the whole choir...

...and Caro and Juan getting ready...

I'm the belly behind her
Juan is coming in as well, next to Santi
We're about to go in!
Florcita looking as cute as she can
Multitasking a little: singing while making sure Flor won't start walking yet
And away we go...
This is me singing my solo
...and this is Juan leading the recessional

  1. How brave of Florencia! I used to do that when I was a kid - we didn't have a choice, our parents made us - and I hated it. Not that I hated helping, but having all of those eyes on me...~shudder~
I was glad when I got too old to Acolyte for the church. Then, I went on teach Sunday School.
I realized when I saw your photos how much I miss my little church.
    Thanks for sharing :)

¿Me equivoco?.

  3. Biddie, Florencia is more than brave, she literally owns the world. She was so well behaved, nobody could believe it, even though I had told them. She loves playing the 'perfect princess role'.

My four kids had the rehearsal after the morning service, and once they were done it was announced that Florencia was going to be the one leading the procession, the youngest person to have ever done that. The other three kids were perfect too, maybe too perfect. They might have ruined their reputation ...

    I'm a proud dad.

Biddie, we really have a lot to be proud of. Me more than Gaby, because I'm also proud of her :-)))

Gabriel, me gustaría escucharte alguna vez, has grabado algo?
