I have always tried to remember when was the last time it has ever snowed in Buenos Aires. Now I do: July 9, 2007.
It's snowing today, and people down there cannot believe their eyes. Reading the newspapers, I have also found out when was that last time I couldn't remember: it was June 1928, so roughly 80 years ago.
Ten years before, on June 22nd, 1918, there was the biggest snowfall, and people were even making snowmen. Below is a picture of that snowfall, 90 years ago.

ReplyDeleteI am very happy about this snowfall in Buenos Aires.
However, I am worried about car crashes. It is going to be more intensive this night they say.
Bye,
