Appetizer - When was the last time you had your hair cut/trimmed?
About a month ago, and I had my beard trimmed as well. I think it's time for me to go back to my figaro.
Soup - Name one thing you miss about being a child.
I can't decide for one of the two, so I will name both:
1) Playing with my friends outside. We only had two TV channels and they showed about 1 hour of cartoons (or less), so most of our time would be spent playing outside. It was great!
2) Going to my grandfather Pepe's farm. I loved it. There was a house built in 1927 that was in terrible shape (it didn't even have electricity). There was nothing I like more than staying there overnight... I will write about this soon (maybe tomorrow!)
Salad - Pick one: butter, margarine, olive oil.
I'm not a margarine fan, so it's a competition between the other two. I love to put olive oil on my boiled potatoes and then make a puree. But I will put butter on pretty much everything, from rice to corn, even to soup or chili. Oh, yes, and also on my mashed potatoes. :-)
Main Course - If you could learn another language, which one would you pick, and why?
I'm very interested in learning more French (I have a dormant knowledge) and probably German or Dutch. In all cases, because I would really like to expand my language knowledge, it would be even good for my career. Why Dutch? Well, the company headquarters are in Belgium... ;-)
Dessert - Finish this sentence: In 5 years I expect to be…
- ...as happy as I am right now.
- ...still with Gaby and the kids by my side.
- ...still working here.
- ...finally out of debt, and living in a new house.
- ...in better health.
- ...alive.
Actually, I'm not THAT good in Espanol to write my comments! I can speak it un poco and follow a conversation.Happy Friday. Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteGreat feast. I agree about playing outside before there were so many TV channels and video games.
