Live from Waterloo: My Christmas blog tradition

It’s that time of the year again, and I’m in full Christmas mood already!!! Like in the past few years, I am getting ready for my ‘Christmas around the world’ post, so I would love for you to send me pictures of your Christmas trees for me to share on Dec 25th. I would love to hear from my family and friends, and my blog buddies, present and past (I’m thinking of Karen, Zhu, Shannon, Katie, Biddie, Lotus, Create with Joy, 5 minutes for Mom, Oh My Heartsie Girl, Image-in-ing and many others). I would love to hear from my blog buddies from US and Europe, and also from Latin America and Asia; I would love to hear from the members of the Dad Bloggers group, who continue to make me at the very least smile every day.

I have more to offer this year. I’m not only asking for pictures of Christmas trees, but also for your fondest Christmas story. It could be something like how you used to celebrate Christmas growing up, or a fond memory of someone special who might no longer be around… your choice. If you send me a past post, I will simply link to it, and translate it to either Spanish or English depending on the original language. If you haven’t posted anything (or you don’t have a blog), then you will have both versions here. Interested?

Ya hemos llegado a esa época del año, y estoy de buen humor para la Navidad!! Como en años anteriores, estoy preparando mi post ‘Navidad alrededor del mundo’, así que me encantaría recibir las fotos de los arbolitos de Navidad para compartir el 25/Dec. Me encantaría que me contacte mi familia, mis amigos, mis blog buddies, antiguos o presentes (como El 22, Los Ziegler, Mike, Arturo, Los Marge, Schlecter, Alicia, Nata y tantos otros). Incluso por los viejitos del balcón (a) Fafa y JorMig, mis comentaristas bardeadores! Me encantaría también recibir material de mis blog buddies de US y Europa, y también de Latino América y Asia (sí, tengo!); me encantaría saber de los integrantes del grupo ‘Dad Bloggers’, responsable de más de una sonrisa diaria por estos días.

Tengo más para ofrecer este año. No sólo busco fotos de arbolitos, sino también sus historias preferidas de Navidad. Puede ser acerca de cómo celebraban cuando eran chicos, o un recuerdo especial de alguien que tal vez ya no está… uds eligen. Si me envían un post ya publicado, le hago el link y lo traduzco ya sea al inglés o al español, dependiendo del idioma original. Si no han posteado nada aún (o no tienen blog), entonces pongo las dos versiones aquí. Les interesa?
