A sign in the toilet

I’m an avid reader, I’ve said it several times. I’m not embarrassed to confess that I read everywhere, and that means everywhere (it includes the toilet and even the bathtub). So there I was, um, sitting at the office when a sign captured my interest. It seemed like it was made by our Facilities staff, but I soon discovered that there was more than that…

 

 

Yo soy un lector muy ávido, lo he comentado aquí muchas veces. No me avergüenza admitir que leo en todas partes, y con esto quiero decir en todas partes (definición que incluye el inodoro y hasta la bañera). Allí estaba, entonces… este… sentado, en la oficina, cuando un cartel llamó mi atención. Parecía como que hubiera sido hecho por nuestro staff de Facilities (que se encargan de cuidar el edificio), pero pronto descubrí que había algo más…

 

“Please be courteous to others and use the toilet brush to clean up after yourself!”

OK, nothing wrong in there, though I could have done without the exclamation sign…

“Por favor sea cortés con los demás y limpie con el cepillo de inodoros una vez que terminó!”

OK, nada malo con eso, salvo que yo no hubiera puesto el signo de exclamación…

 

Wait a second… there’s a Post-it Note ® in there. What does it say?

Un segundo… hay un Post-it Note ® allí. Qué es lo que dice?

  “OK, if you say so, but it’s painful! Kinda like using a pinecone when out in

the woods, camping. I’d really prefer to use toilet paper!” LOL!!!

“OK, si Ud. lo dice, pero duele! ES como limpiarse con una piña (de pino)

cuando uno está acampando. Realmente preferiría el papel higiénico!” LOL!!!
