My favourite post and pics from 2009 (Part #1)

I’m not sure if I like doing this a lot, but well, many do. So monkey see, monkey does… :-)

Here are my favourite posts and series from 2009; I’m sending them for a second round in case you missed them the first time I published them…

 

January:

• I liked my “Postcards from the past” series –> #01 - #02 (I should resume it)
• Taking part of the “Five questions” meme gave me the idea for my “Ask me anything” posts –> #01 - #02 (Another one I should bring back!)
• I wrote about Barack Obama and his “opportunity of a lifetime”. Don’t think he’s doing that great so far…
• I also liked the post I wrote about my brother “Fafa”. My brother Paco got jealous. :-)

February:

• Here’s one of my favourite posts of the whole year, “Colour blind”
• I also talked about my hobby (I’m a numismatic, which means I am a coin collector).
• Valentine’s Day allowed me to write to nice posts, one about Florencia and the other one –obviously– about Gaby…
• My last favourite post from this month was the one about Lent, and how we celebrated Mardi Gras at my church. Speaking of this, today I was asked to make sure I’m not travelling for this year’s Mardi Gras service (Feb/14)! :-)

March:

• I wrote about my blogbuddy Katie and the journey of her lifetime, moving from Pennsylvania to my hometown, Necochea.
• I started my “Gaby’s recipes” series, which I’m planning to resume this year, because they were very popular!
• I wrote about our first day in Canada, after we came for the final time, ready to “burn the ships”
• I liked my post on Argentina’s “Memorial Day” (Mar/24)

April:

• I wrote a funny story about “Pavlov’s Dads”
• April 12th, 2009 was finally the day I didn’t publish anything since December 2007. I took more breaks after that day, but that was the first…
• I loved this story of Florencia taking credit for helping at home!
• That was it. I wasn’t too inspired in April! :-)

 

No sé si estoy muy convencido de hacer esto, pero bueno, muchos lo hacen. Así que ‘a donde fueres, haz lo que vieres’… :-)

Aquí hay una pequeña (en serio!) lista de mis posts y series preferidos de 2009; los mando a una segunda ronda en caso de que se los hayan perdido la primera vez que los publiqué…

 

Enero:

• Me gustó my serie “Postcards from the past” –> #01 - #02 (debería retomarla)
• Hacer el meme “Cinco preguntas” me dio la idea de hacer mis posts de “Preguntame lo que quieras” –> #01 - #02 (otro que debería continuar!)
• Escribí sobre Barack Obama y su “oportunidad de quedar en la historia”. No va muy bien hasta ahora, me parece.
• Me gustó mucho el post que escribí sobre mi hermano “Fafa”. Paco se puso celoso… :-)

Febrero:

• Este fue uno de mis posts favoritos del año: “Colour blind” (“Daltónico”)
• Les conté sobre mi hobby (soy un numismático, es decir, colecciono monedas).
• El Día de San Valentín me permitió escribir dos post muy lindos, uno para Florencia y el  otro –obviamente– para Gaby…
• Mi último post favorito de este mes fue el que escribí sobre la Cuaresma, contándoles cómo celebramos Carnaval en mi iglesia. Hablando de eso, hoy ya me pidieron que me asegure de estar en la ciudad para el servicio de este año, el 14 de Febrero! :-)

Marzo:

• Escribí sobre mi blogbuddy Katie y el viaje de su vida, mudándose de Pennsylvania a mi ciudad natal, Necochea.
• Comencé mi serie “Las recetas de Gaby”, la que también retornará este año, porque fue muy popular!
• Hablé sobre nuestro primer día en Canadá, una vez que vinimos todos juntos por última vez, ya dispuestos “quemar las naves”
• Me gustó mi post sobre el “Día de la Memoria” en Argentina (24/Mar/)

Abril:

• Escribí una historia divertida sobre los “Padres de Pavlov”
• El 12 de Abril de 2009 fue finalmente el día en que no publiqué nada, primero desde por lo menos Diciembre de 2007. Me tomé más breaks desde entonces, pero ése fue el primero. Y sorprendentemente, el mundo no se terminó…
• Me encantó esta historia de Florencia contando orgullosa cómo ayuda en la casa!
• Y eso fue todo. No tuve mucha inspiración en Abril! :-)
