Silly Monkey Stories #08 - Se habla español

Canada
As I have mentioned in countless posts throughout the last few weeks, it's been raining almost everyday in Waterloo, and last Friday was no exception. We were getting ready to go to the pool, but I had warned Gaby that the forecast said 'rain' again.

Sure enough, as we were almost ready to get in the car, it started to rain, and it rained hard! I then went downstairs to let the kids know that we weren't going anywhere after all... Santi had even invited a friend over, so there were five kids in the basement.

Me: - Kids, it's raining again, so we're not going to the pool after all.
Santi: - @#%#%$^&$!!!
Gaby (who had heard from upstairs): - Santi!!!!
Santi (as if nothing had happened): - What? At least I swore in Spanish...
Me: - Santi, this is probably not the best time to try to score pity points for finally speaking in Spanish at home...

Ni bien terminó de decirlo, me pregunta: "Esto es lo que vas a escribir el martes, no?"Me he vuelto tan predecible?<>You know what was the worse about all this? As soon as he finished saying that, he asked me: "This is what you're going to post on Tuesday, right?"Have I become that predictable?<>
