Top Commentators - February 2008

This month that has just passed was -once again- the most successful in the short history of this blog so far. Many events contributed to this: first of all, the fact that I won first prize in the the Canadian Blogger Awards, which caused my blog to be visited by hundreds of new readers. That got even crazier when the news about my award were published in the Argentine media ("Clarín" and "Diario Necochea" newspapers). I got over 1,000 page views the day I was featured in Clarín! And stay tuned, that the best is yet to come! ;-)

My Wordless Wednesday posts continued to be very successful (especially with all those vintage photos!) guaranteeing me about 200 visits every time; people seemed to continue to like my stories as well, and the new addition to my 'meme' section, Sarcastic Mom's Weekly Winners, has been more than productive!

My growth is firm and steady. Look at the numbers according to Sitemeter:

The number of comments also went slightly up, from 606 to 669 (up 10.40%) as well as the number of commentators (from 203 to 263, up 29.56%). Talk about growth!!!

USA finally took over and became the country where the most visits come from, followed by Canada and Argentina. In addition to the 'regulars' (Spain, Venezuela, Mexico, Dominican Republic), I'm getting a lot of visits from places like Phillipines, Belgium, Singapore and Malaysia, which is great!

The winner came once again from Pehuajó, Argentina: Mike, author of "Pehuajeando pa'l mundo", and major tyrant of the "Poyita". The top ten had pretty much the same people from January, with a very few (but very welcomed) additions. Congratulations to all!

Este mes que pasó ha sido -nuevamente- el más exitoso en la corta historia de este blog hasta ahora. Muchos eventos contribuyeron a ello: principalmente, el hecho de que haya ganado el primer premio en los Canadian Blogger Awards, lo que causó que mi blog fuera visitado por cientos de nuevos lectores. Todo se volvió aún más loco cuando las noticias fueron publicadas en los medios de Argentina (los diarios "Clarín" y "Diario Necochea"). Tuve más de 1,000 page views el día en que me mencionaron en Clarín! Y quédense atentos, que hay más por venir! ;-)

Mis posts de Wordless Wednesday continuaron teniendo mucho éxito (especialmente esas fotos antiguas!), garantizándome unas 200 visitas cada vez; la gente continuó disfrutando de mis historias y la nueva adición a mi sección de 'memes', los Weekly Winners de Sarcastic Mom, ha sido más que productivos!

El número de comentarios también subió, de 606 a 669 (un incremento del 10.40%) lo mismo que el número de comentaristas (de 203 a 263, arriba un 29.56%). Eso es crecimiento!!!

USA finalmente tomó la delantera y es el país que me genera más visitas, seguido de Canadá y Argentina. Además de los 'habitués' (España, Venezuela, México, República Dominicana), estoy teniendo muchas visitas de lugares como Filipinas, Bélgica, Singapur y Malasia, lo que me encanta!

El ganador vino otra vez desde Pehuajó, Argentina: Mike, autor de "Pehuajeando pa'l mundo", y tirano mayor de la "Poyita". El top ten tuvo casi las mismas caras del mes anterior, con unas pocas (pero muy bienvenidas) novedades. Felicitaciones a todos!
