We were out looking for dance academies, as Florencia will start acrobatic dance this fall. On our way back, and as we were on the expressway, a motorcycle passed us at great speed. Florencia looked at it and asked:

 

- Dad… is the engine on the motorcycles pretty much in the middle?

- Well… a little towards the back, I guess. The thing in the middle, right between and below the driver’s legs, would be the gas tank

- So, they are pretty much sitting on top of the engine?

- Almost, yeah

- It must be uncomfortable having your butt vibrating all the time!

 

 

17/Ago/2015 – Florencia (11) 

 

Estábamos dando vueltas, visitando academias de baile, porque Florencia va a empezar danzas acrobáticas en el otoño. Camino a casa, y ya en la autopista, una motocicleta nos pasó a gran velocidad. Florencia la observó y me preguntó:

 

- Papá… el motor de las motos está en el medio?

- Bueno… diría que un poquito hacia atrás. Esa cosa en el medio, entre y debajo de las piernas del conductor, es el tanque de nafta (gasolina)

- Entonces, están prácticamente sentados encima del motor?

- Sí, prácticamente…

- Debe ser muy incómodo andar por ahí con tu trasero vibrando todo el tiempo!
