Disappointing readers since 2006
Why is it that men can never resist looking down the barrel of a cannon? Every male in me family form the youngest to the oldest does this every time we see a cannon.
Too funny! I love to see pics of my parents when they were younger.
There is a strong family resemblance. I'd be wondering if anything was nesting down in that shaft, that might fly out in my face.
I just love visiting old forts. There use to be a lot of them along the shoreline.
I really do think it's a man thing to look in a canon! What a great photo to have!

It may be a man thing, but it is a good thing they are never loaded and ready to go.
When I see old canons, I would always be amazed by them because who would have though that those things actually worked in combat.
