It’s not ‘that’ cold

CanadaI went out at lunch time, just to get me a bottle of Diet Coke. It’s sunny outside, so somehow I thought that I wouldn’t need my jacket for such a short walk, my sweater would be enough. I went out and I confirmed my idea, it was definitely not that bad.

But deep inside I knew that it couldn’t be possible. After all, temperature hasn’t been above 0ºC (32ºF) since Jan/01… On my way back, a wind gust made my hands feel really cold so I decided to come and check what the temperature really was.

Went to check the weather station of the University of Waterloo and here’s what I saw:

image21 ºF – Feels like 8 ºF

Either my layer of fat that protects me very well from the cold weather or my tolerance to cold is way bigger than what I though!

No estaba nada mal…

  7. Cold is weird. Sure, it mostly depends on the wind. But sometimes I'm freezing cold and it's only -10C, and sometimes I just okay and it's below -20C with windchill.

  8. Yay! You are becoming one of us!
It's not cold unless exposed skin freezes in under a minute.
