We're down to three!

CanadaI can't believe we're so close already... But it's true!
It was Gaby's birthday yesterday, and she didn't get breakfast in bed due to our soccer commitments (we had a game at 9:15 AM) and a forgetful husband who never heard the alarm clock. She was quite happy with her gift, though.

Juan's team had a rematch against the blue team they had beaten 2-0 on Saturday afternoon, and things didn't go well this time. Under a very strong rain, our guys failed to repeat previous performances and fell 0-2, thus ending their journey for this season. We were still very proud to see how much our guys had learned, and how hard they played, especially during the playoffs.

At the award ceremony (we came in third)

We rushed from Juan's game to make it in time for Santi's game. His team did better, though once again didn't play too well. Still, it was a 3-1 win. Santi had a below average game once again, and we're all wondering where is drive is...

We came back from Santi's game and had a quick lunch, then out again just for a ride. We were planning to go to the movies, but changed plans and went to Benny's for dinner instead. We finally made a stop at Blockbusters for a few movies and got back home by 8:00 PM. There was some time for blowing the candles before we watched some TV and then went to bed so early (our kids dixit).

Don't worry, it's an apple-flavoured, non-alcoholic beverage

Let me tell you, in spite of this seemingly boring day, 'excitement' is definitely the word that describes the current mood at home. This is going to be an unforgettable week! I almost feel bad about not saying anything yet... ;-)

The only reason why I'm putting this picture is not so you see my butt, but just so you can see that the blue keeper is not crying anymore... See him walking by. :-)
