Friday's Feast #30

Susan, the chef of "Friday's Feast" is having some technical difficulties these days,
so I will join Tanya's 'Texas Style' Feast for this week.

Appetizer - When was the last time you had some barbeque?
If I remember correctly, last weekend. I'm a good Argentine, and try to barbeque at least once a week, even during the winter. When the temperature goes below -10C, we bring the barbeque up to the deck and put it right next to the kitchen's sliding door, so I can cook from inside! :-)

Soup - How many pairs of cowboy boots do you own?
None... and I don't think I would ever buy one.

Salad - Finish this sentence: Mommas, don't let your babies ______________
Mommas, don't let your babies grow up. It's a painful reminder of your mortality. :-)

Main Course - Name a song that makes you think of Texas
Well, "Pecos Bill", of course. My father sang that song all the time (sometimes with his twin brother) and he passed the tradition along to all of his children. Whenever two Almada brothers are together, chances are we will take our guitars and treat our children with it.

Dessert - Cowboy hats - Black or white?
I'd say black, but it would be hard to find a hat that would fit me... Tanya says that the good guys always wear white... so I guess black was a good choice! :-D

  5. Great feast! I tried to use your Mr. Linky, but when I tried to type in the box, nothing would happen. So, you like your barbecue in Argentina? I wonder if it's anything like Texas barbecue?

  6. Thanks for visiting and I enjoyed your feast. I'll have to keep visiting, because if you do Spanish translations maybe I can brush back up on my high school Spanish. When I lived in Brazil, all the cab drivers thought I was Argentine because I spoke Portuguese with a Spanish accent :-)
