Seven

It's been seven years today since I left Argentina for good. Sometimes it feels like I got here yesterday, and some others like I have lived here my entire life (but this until I turn on the TV and watch the news, and I realize I still don't recognize most of the politicians' faces). :-)

I have always said, and many people told me as well, that I should write about the things that happened to me first and then to all of us during the first year in Canada. A few months ago, Guillermo Ziegler made a comment about this on his blog, and kinda challenged me to write about it. So I will. You see, Guillermo? It only took seven months...

So, starting tonight, and for a couple of days, you will get to look into my first year here in Canada. There will be some things that I have never told anyone about. I hope you find it interesting...

  4. I can't wait to hear some of your stories. I can only imagine how frightening and exciting it would be to move to new country.
    You are very brave. Honestly.

  5. Carlos, incredible coincidence. You're only one day older than me, here in Canada!

Arturo, thanks for your comments, I hope you really find it interesting.

Guille, you're right, it kinda felt like a wet Willy

Biddie, it was really frightening at times. I don't know if I am brave, I feel it was just the right moment. We're absolutely sure we wouldn't do it now, especially after having gone through it! :-)
