Fire

There are a couple houses just down the road, that have been vacated (one due to mold problems, I’m not sure about the other). Not long ago, fire trucks started to show up regularly, and we were told that they were working on getting everything ready for a training day.

Since the houses need to be demolished to make way for a new subdivision (they’re going to build an entire new neighbourhood in there), the Fire Department asked to use these houses for training purposes, and they burned down the first one today. And I just happened to be around!

Hay un par de casas cerca de aquí que han sido evacuadas (una por problemas de humedad y hongos, no estoy seguro sobre la otra). No hace mucho, comenzaron a aparecer camiones de los bomberos, y nos contaron que estaban preparando el lugar para ua jornada de entrenamiento para los nuevos reclutas.

Como las casas ya igual iban a ser demolidas para dar lugar a una nueva subdivisión (van a construir un vecindario nuevo), el Departamento de Bomberos pidió usar estas casas para sus entrenamientos, y hoy prendieron fuego la primera de ellas. Y yo justo andaba por allí!
