Appetizer - When someone smiles at you, do you smile back?
Of course! That's what any person with a minimal amount of education would do.
Soup - Describe the flooring in your home. Do you have carpet, hardwood, vinyl, a mix?
Mostly carpet; we replaced the vinyl of the kitchen, washrooms and foyer just a few months ago. And we're much poorer because of that.
Salad - Write a sentence with only 5 words, but all of the words have to start with the first letter of your first name.
About my weight:
Good grief, getting gigantic gut!
A soccer related one:
Golden goal, grumpy Greeks galore!
One about how I feel sometimes about people I met:
Grateful guys get greatest gift (which to me means 'unconditional friendship')
Main Course - Do you know anyone whose life has been touched by adoption?
Yes, mine (and my father's and his wife's). After having been together for many years, she was trying very hard to get pregnant, but to no avail. They tried everything that was available to them, visited doctors from my hometown and other places, but nothing would work. I was visiting them one day, and it was evident that I caught them talking about it, but they tried to change the subject -in vain.
From the wisdom that only 17 years of age can give, I told them: "Why don't you guys adopt a kid? You're legally married, and all of us kids are living in Buenos Aires. You deserve to have a kid you can raise". And then I teased her: "You'll see, the moment you find out a child is coming, you'll get pregnant"...
My two youngest brothers are eight months apart. And I'm the godfather of the last one! :-)
Dessert - Name 2 blue things.
The guy on the left and the guy on the right
