Friday's Feast #03

Appetizer - What is your middle name? Would you change any of your names if you could? If so, what would you like to be called?
My middle name is José, like my grandfather Pepe. No, I don't think I would change any of my names, although there was a time when I was a kid when I wasn't too excited about being called "Gabriel".

Soup - If you were a fashion designer, which fabrics, colors, and styles would you probably use the most?
I don't know!!! I guess "mostly cotton fabrics", "blue, dark blue and purple", and "mostly formal" would be my answers here... But I know nothing about fashion or clothes in general. I do like polo shirts, so I might be a polo shirt designer. Really boring ones, plain colours.

Salad - What is your least favorite chore, and why?
Probably ironing my shirts, but only because I just stink at it. I'm so grateful that my wife does it so well (even though she hates it too).

Main Course - What is something that really frightens you, and can you trace it back to an event in your life?
I guess the only thing that has frightened me since I was a kid is death (particularly, mine). Maybe -just maybe- I'm still afraid of heights, but it's not as bad as it used to be. Elbow and knee injuries also frighten me, and -of course- I cut my knee open when I had a car accident 13 years ago.

The one thing that scares me sh**less is the thought of anything bad happening to my wife or any of my four kids. Luckily, I don't have any events in my life I can trace any of these fears to.

Dessert - Where are you sitting right now? Name 3 things you can see at this moment.
I'm sitting at my wife's computer, wearing some really cool Santa boxers that play Christmas Music when you press Santa's face. My mother gave them to me about 6 years ago, but only now they fit. I can see a CD tower, a picture of my father and half a hotdog right now. Make it 1/4 of a hotdog now. (gulp)

  2. Oh my gosh! Reading your feast I realized what I should have put for my greatest fear. I'm scared of losing my husband every time he goes to work. He's a state trooper and I'm scared he'll get in a wreck, get hit while talking to someone in their car or get shot.

  5. Gattina, I just LOVE sending those disturbing visuals through the internet. Good that I got you to laugh.

They're very ugly, but they're made of flannel, so I like them anyway!

  9. Yo tambien me olvide de mencionar la muerte como algo que me aterra. Sera que cuando pienso en la muerte me da mas tristeza que miedo.

Santa boxers!! Too much information!! ;)

  10. LOL
Just thinking of you writting in your underwear eating a hotdog is disturbing enough to add the fact that the boxer had Santa's face and music!!!!
    :p

Can't really say what I'm afraid of, maybe losing my loved ones and probably injuries... hate pain, any kind but physically even worse.

  24. I would be lost if something happened to my husband, or anyone of my children, so that definetly scares me to death.

Enjoyed your feast! Especially your Santa boxers, sound really Festive!!

    Have a great weekend.

Good afternoon Gabriel, Your Feast made a smile on my face...Thanks for your visit to my place. When I saw the name Pepe come up on my screen,it made me laugh... My grandkids called my husband, their grandpa, by this name for years..They started calling him Pepe, because he would take our dog out to Pee and they always heard him say: " lets go Peepee"... so his nickname came to be...

  33. I'm happy to see that my Santa boxers caused such an impression.

Unfortunately, today I found out they're not good to take to work. You see, I was sitting at my desk and any time I lift my left leg, I would turn Santa on... and the only way to mute the sound would be by grabbing my leg where the mini speaker is.

I wonder what my co-workers thought of me today, since I was blushing then grabbing my left leg every half an hour or so...
