Florencia has been playing soccer for a couple of weeks now. I was hoping she was going to do great, given the skills she's shown, carrying the ball around for ever, while her siblings play. I even thought that with time she might take Santi's spot as the soccer star of the family.
Was I wrong! She's more into making new friends than into playing soccer. All she cared about on the first practice was to make friends with some of the girls. The she had a major issue with the kids of the other teams. They would take the ball from her (how dare you!). She stood in the middle of the field, hands crossed and said "You have to share!" :-)
It all changed today. Florencia came up with a new strategy. For some reason, she thought it would be a good idea to play the entire game... holding hands with another girl!!!
Santi, you can relax. Your spot as the soccer star in the Almada family is not in danger.
